Social news startup Ongo raises $12m from Gannett and the New York Times

Paid content has story of a very interesting news sharing start-up called Ongo, which has raised $12m from USA Today publisher-Gannett, the New York Times Company and the Washtington Post Company.

News Corporation has bitten back in progressing phone hacking saga and sent a letter to the New York Times following its investigation into the scandal. The paper’s story reignited interest in the illegal activities of Rupert Murdoch’s News of the World and Andy Coulson’s possible knowledge of that activity.
